MAGNOLIA PRODUCTS
Detergents and non-aggressive disinfectant and instructions for use. Products and user program that leave little room for doubt.
At the end of the working day (or more often if needed), aspirate the detergent and disinfectant solution (Puli-Jet plus with anti-scale) directly onto the dental units with the help of Pulse Cleaner, the bucket that creates the necessary turbulence to remove dirt so that the disinfectant solution can eliminate it. Continuous use of Puli-Jet plus new with anti-scale dissolves blood and mucus and removes scaling from the walls of the aspirator and of the tubes, to prevent bacterial biofilm adhering to it. Puli-Jet plus new with anti-scale can remain inside the aspirator and in the tubes as long as possible without damaging treated surfaces. This is why we recommend carrying out the disinfection especially at night, but also before the weekend or holidays, without rinsing after disinfection.
A dental surgery is often open until late at night, that often leaves no time. It must however be remembered that disinfecting the system in the morning, a few minutes before resuming work, will not be as effective as night time disinfection: the matter that was aspirated the day before and the biological transformation that takes place during the night, will not be eliminated with a treatment the day after.
When blood and mucus are subjected to a forced air jet, they generate a great quantity of foam; after a treatment with a disinfecting detergent and daily cleaning of the dental unit primary filter, we recommend placing antifoaming disinfectant tablets inside the filter.
The following day when the aspirated liquid passes through the filter it will pick up some particles of antifoaming agent and of disinfectant, preventing the formation of foam and actually performing a continuous antibacterial action, which is preferable to the occasional use of harsher products which can damage machines and systems.
Regular cleaning of the suction system promotes correct operation, whereas inadequate cleaning and disinfection allows the formation of bacterial layers which, over time, will impede suction causing overheating and jamming of bearings.
